Using the official Garmin soft HR strap. Constantly loses connection to Fenix 5. Same issue with second strap I buy. So the issue is not the strap itself or the battery. The reason I know it's losing connection is in the Connect app, the HR will basically stop updating randomly with large gaps in the graph for HR.

Since this week the heart rate is no longer recorded (the 'last 4 hours' view doesn't show data and also in Connect it appears as if I have no data recorded). The Heart Rate screen however does show my "active heart rate".
Here are the observations so far. Start fenix 5x for an elliptical activity. Start workout. A couple min in I notice my HR is still showing 60-70. I can tell it's higher. Grab the elliptical HR monitor and measure HR in the 130's. Stop fenix 5x activity. Restart fenix 5x activity. Fenix immediately starts ramping the HR up to 130's and tracks
